Obama proposes closing Commerce Department, merge agencies

I couldn't wait to see how the Freepers would react to this one. By the way, there are two articles that I'm quoting from, and the other one's title is: "Obama seeks power to merge agencies (The Communist Dictator wants more powers)"

Summary: President Barack Obama will ask Congress on Friday for authority to close the Commerce Department and create a new export agency, an overhaul that could save US$3-billion and help inoculate him against Republican election-year charges that he is a big-government liberal.

Pulling more departments into his spider’s web of control. If/When he ever leaves office, his (Soro’s and Ayer’s) minions will be able to carry on with their quest.

Room for another new uncountable CZAR!

*

touted...saving 3 billion over ten years, meanwhile our interest alone on debt is 4.5 billion a day

*

Well, I agree with closing Commerce, Education, Energy and numerous other departments, but I do not trust this President.
Consequently, I need to wait for analysis of this typical Friday afternoon news / document dump.

Having said that, I am extremely wary of anything this man does.

I think everyone's skepticism is wellfounded. There is nothing in this clown's DNA that would even allow him to think about reducing anything gubbermint does. If he is allowed to merge these other agencies with Commerce it may look good on paper but the end result will be a large increase in bureaucrats. Count on it. This is a cynical head fake, nothing more. But the stupidoes in the Boehner -McConnell branch of the gop will probably suck it down after a few hems and haws.

Wesley Mouch: "I MUST HAVE MORE POWER!"

*

It's a power grab move, that's all. It has nothing to do with “streamlining” the Government, it has everything to do with consolidating control of Government.

*

Good idea bad execution.
It would be better if congress wrote legislation to that effect and 0 would have to sign it.
Do not hand power to 0, he will propose something blatantly leftist, like create a whole new super-agency under one of his nutjob consumer advocacy environmentalist czars, and then blame the Republicans for obstructing his gov't reduction efforts.

---Yeah, don't give power to the president, guys. God knows what he'd do... if he had power.

"Most of us know what this Soros backed communist is up to. So far he is Hitler lite. The rest of this year will see him try to gain full power. God help us all."

Absolutely spot on! 0bozo reminds me most of Mussolini but he isn’t exactly like any previous dictator. But this isn’t Europe, Africa or Eur-Asia either. I think the resistance here will be a little different.

Obama is a nationalist-socialist: a fascist. He is a black power/ethnic minority nationalist who seeks to destroy America as a melting pot, white majority society. He is a socialist because he means to destroy the wealthy class, tax them and their income sources out of existence, destroy conservative culture, destroy conservative politics and destroy conservative capitalist economy. Then fascist Obama will build his cultural mosaic fascist society where only those who get the Obama approval can acumulate wealth in society, we already see this in GE and in the health care waivers, for example.
This distinction we NEED to know in order to defeat Obama and his movement. Fascists are defeated by truth ( no spin on facts), exposure ( publication in the press)and ridicule ( disempowerment through ridicule in public.), the formula taught by WInston Churchill.

We either do this now for the Nov. election,or we will be fighting with guns in the streets to destroy the Obama movement. Communism has the ideology of equality of wealth which Obama and his running dogs do not have, fighting him as a communist will not work, and the Unions are being used by Obama, as they may soon find out.The Unions can be turned against Obama very easily by revealing the facts about Obama and his fascist movement

"We either this now for the Nov. election,or we will be fighting with guns in the streets for" ... our very lives.
